Bone straight and human hair

• Wash with a sulphate-free shampoo when it feels heavy, usually every one to two weeks.
• Condition from mid-length to ends only, keeping product off the lace.
• Let it air dry flat on a towel, then straighten on medium heat with a heat protectant.
• Sleep in a satin bonnet or wrap.

Futura fibre

• Use cool water; hot water relaxes the curl pattern.
• Keep curling irons and straighteners below 180°C.
• Store it on a stand to keep its shape.

Braids

• Foam-wash your scalp with diluted shampoo.
• Oil the scalp lightly, not the braids.
• Take braids out in good time to protect your edges.
